SalsaSoul Productions runs salsasoulevents.com from Sarasota, Florida. This policy explains what information the website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information you send us

When you use the inquiry form on Let’s Dance, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), the topic you choose, and your message. We use this information to answer your question and arrange the class, lesson, booking, or collaboration you asked about.

Your inquiry is saved in a private database with our web hosting provider and sent to us by email. We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and keep a record of our conversation. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful and how visitors find the website. It collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the website or search that brought you here, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (such as city or country). We do not use it to identify individual visitors. Learn more about how Google uses information from websites that use its services.

Spam protection. To prevent spam and repeated submissions, the inquiry form uses a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address. Your actual IP address is not saved with your inquiry, and the records used to limit repeated submissions are deleted after 24 hours. The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which loads from Cloudflare on the Let’s Dance page and checks that a person, not an automated program, is sending it. Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details for that check; the Turnstile privacy addendum applies. An automated filter also screens messages for sales pitches and spam, and the messages it flags are kept for us to review instead of being emailed.

Google Maps. When you open an event’s details, a map of the venue loads from Google Maps. Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies; Google’s privacy policy applies. The map loads only when you open an event’s details.

Everything else stays on our website. The website’s fonts, images, and music are served from our own web host, so browsing the pages sends no requests to font, advertising, or social media services. Google Analytics, the event maps, and Cloudflare’s spam check on the inquiry form are the only outside services the pages load.

Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical details about each visit, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time, to keep the website running and secure.

Cookies and browser storage

• Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) tell one visit apart from another. We use them only to measure visits, not for advertising.
• Listening Room settings. The music player saves your volume and mute settings in your browser so they are ready next time. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. We do not record what you listen to.
• Administrator sign-in. The private admin area uses sign-in cookies for site administrators only, including one that remembers a browser that has signed in before. Visitors do not receive them.

How information is shared

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website, such as our web hosting provider, our email service, Google for analytics, and Cloudflare to check the inquiry form for spam, or when the law requires it.

Links to other websites

Event listings link to Google Maps for directions, and may link to Facebook events and venue or organizer websites. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave salsasoulevents.com.

How we protect information

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection on every page. Inquiries are stored outside the public website, where they cannot be reached through a web address. Private backups are kept for seven days. No website or storage method is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you share.

Your choices

• Ask to see, correct, or delete the inquiry details you sent us.
• Stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings.
• Choose not to use the inquiry form. You can still browse the whole website.

Children’s privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
